I am a parent of two, 18 and 7 years old. Experience working with children, Sunday School Teacher, Designated Safeguarding Lead, First Aider, Mental Health First Aider and Mentor.
Loves and enjoys working with children, supporting them to grow, flourish, build their confidence, and empower our children and young people. Creating a safe space and opportunities for the next generation.
Corporate background within business analysis, project and events management, governance, office management and executive assistance.

Emma Platt
Playworker & Deputy Manager
Hi I am Emma, I have over 6 years of experience working with children and young people. I worked in a primary school for 6 years and currently support students at a College with SEN. I am also a parent of three children, giving me both professional and personal experience in childcare and child development.
I have been part of Happikids since the beginning and have enjoyed watching it grow. I love working with children because I enjoy helping them learn, grow, and build confidence. It is rewarding to support their development and make a positive difference in their lives.

Joanne Glen

Hi I am Joanne, my main role is a SEN Assistant, providing 1:1 support for SEN children in a primary school.
I love and have a lot of passion when it comes to my job, as I love working with all children. I have great experience hands on with children with autism, this means a lot to me as I also have family members on the spectrum.
I'm very proud of what I do and who I am. I'm a very passionate,loving,patient happy, bubbly and caring person that many children love and gravitate to

I have experience babysitting my siblings, family members and friends of family. I enjoy creating fun, safe, and positive environments where children can learn and thrive.
I have customer service experience working within a restaurant and work experience within the Finance Directorate within Housing.
